Getting Started

Set up your account and send your first outreach

Welcome to FillCue

FillCue helps you find coverage fast. Instead of texting and emailing people one by one, you create an outreach request and FillCue contacts your people in priority order until someone says yes.

Here's how it works in three steps:

  1. Add your contacts — the people you’d normally reach out to when you need coverage.
  2. Set their priority order — drag to rank who gets asked first.
  3. Send outreach — FillCue emails them one at a time. First person to accept gets the request.

Sending your first outreach

  1. Go to Outreach in the navigation and click New Outreach.
  2. Fill in the details: title (e.g. “Coverage needed — March 15”), date, venue, and any notes for your contacts.
  3. Set the Response Deadline — this is how long each person has to reply before we move to the next one.
  4. Click Send Test Outreach first to see how it works without using a request or sending real emails.
  5. When you're ready, click Send Outreach (1 request) to go live.
Try a test outreach first! It simulates the entire flow so you can see exactly what your contacts will receive, without using one of your requests.

What to tell your contacts

Before using FillCue, let your contacts know they'll be getting emails from the platform. A quick text or email works:

"Hey — I'm using a service called FillCue to send out coverage requests. You'll get an email when I have an opening available. Just click Accept or Decline in the email."

This heads-up prevents your emails from being ignored or marked as spam. The onboarding wizard includes a pre-written message you can copy and send.
